We were in Mauritius four months ago (October 2009). It was great, a wonderful travel.
We were in Mauritius during 9 days. One on them, we decided to visit Pereybere Beach. It´s a very beautiful beach.
We were in Palmeraie Hotel (east) and Pereybere Beach is in the north of the island. We decide to take a taxi (around 50$ two ways) and we arrived in one our aproximately.
It´s not a very big beach but there are not a lot of people. You will not have problems to get a place. You also will be able to see a lot of restaurants and shops. It´s a good place to spend a lond day.
